Day 1 - 5 Things About You No One Really Knows

Oh gosh.  The very first day and I already want to quit.  What about me do you not know?  Let's see...

1. One time in high school I sluffed.  Well, I did that a lot actually. My friends and I would call in our "absences" for each other to get them excused. One Friday, though, while I was at my friend Traci's house eating pizza and watching a movie the school called my house to verify that I really was getting ready for a family vacation (my excuse for the day).  My dad answered and you know what he told them.  That yes, we were going out of town later that day and that I may not even be back for classes on Monday.  Basically my dad rocks.  Not only did he cover for me, he excused my sluff for Monday too!  Automatic 4 day weekend!  I'm not sure what about me you can get from that story, but no one really knew about it.

2. I have a star shaped mole.  I kinda like it.  It's cute :)

3. I almost did a semester studying abroad in Sweden with afore mentioned friend, Traci. I had even started the paperwork and had my passport. But it was just weeks after I had met Brad and he ruined everything :).  I decided I had better stay here if I wanted to keep him.  It was hard enough keeping the girls off him while I was holding his hand.  It would have been impossible if I was across the world.  I feel bad for abandoning Traci (who went without me), but I don't regret it at all.  Brad was worth it :)

4. My ears won't stay pierced if I don't have earrings in constantly.  I've had to re-pierce them 3 times because I've left earrings out for a few days.

5.  When I was younger I kept a journal.  I wrote in it without missing a night for over 700 days.  I'm not sure why I stopped, but I wish I hadn't. It's a hard habit to get back into.
