Our Trip: A Series of Posts

We had so much fun on our trip to Ohio to see my sister and her family. Abbi, my dad and I went out a week before Brad was able to. Here is a series of posts and pictures in review of our trip. Enjoy!

We went down to Columbus one day so Sue and Peter could do baptisms with a new member from their ward. While we waited, my dad and I took the kids to a park in "German Village." It is such a cute little place with a bunch of little Victorian houses.

We ate lunch at a little German family owned diner. It was really authentic German food.

Abbi loved to play with her cousins at the park. Her favorite was the train toy.

Mitchell loved the slide.

Don't worry, Emily and Josh had fun too. They were just sick of me taking pictures.

We also went to a little lake near Sue's house one day. It was really fun to have a picnic lunch at the beach. Emily couldn't come with us, but she had fun at her last day of "Zoo Camp."

Mitchell and Josh loved to dig in the sand.

Abbi liked to eat it.

They loved playing with each other. My favorite thing was that they would hold hands whenever we drove anywhere. So sweet!

I am so glad you had fun in Ohio! We have loved living here so far. It seems like there is a lot of fun stuff to do. We are heading to Palmyra over Labor Day so we are super excited. What would you recommend doing in Columbus? We have visitors coming soon and we havent really had time to explore the city that much. Was German Village really fun? I am glad you had a good trip!
