Goings on as of late

Well, it has been forever since I did a real post here on the blog.  I have a ton of catching up to do so today you get to hear a little bit (very little bit) about our May. Well, as much of it as I took pictures of at least.  It's been crazy...

BJ and Kennie got married on the 7th.

Brad and I had our 5th anniversary on the 13th so we spent it in Midway at the B&B called Johnsons Mill and doing a session at the Salt Lake Temple.

Johnsons Mill from a canoe in the middle of the pond Brad MADE me go out in.

The sign outside our door.  We were the only ones staying at the Inn that night.

Since we were the only ones there, this is the best picture of the two of us I could get.

We took Abbi to the Zoo for the first time.  She was terrified most of the time. But she loved the carousel and riding Grandpa's shoulders.

Photobucket
There were robotic dinosaurs that freaked Abbi out right at the beginning and she never really calmed down the rest of the time we were there.

Photobucket
The few moments that Abbi was in the process of a nervous break down where while she was riding the wolf on the carousel.

Photobucket
She calmed down a little bit to ride on Grandpa's shoulders too.

My little brother David got home from his first tour of duty in Iraq on the 14th.  I'm so unbelievably proud of him.

That Southwest plane on the left is the plane they flew in on.

Photobucket
You can't really see him, but he just stepped off the stairs.

I'm sure you all know this, but Brad got a new job and we moved to Minnesota on the 15th. Since our apartment wasn't ready yet we explored St. Paul a little bit...mostly the Mall of America.  They have an aquarium there that Abbi loved.  We got an annual pass so it will be a place we frequent I'm sure.

Photobucket
Abbi loved the starfish touch pool.

Photobucket
She also thought the jelly fish were fascinating.

Photobucket
She loved the tunnel.  The sharks kinda scared her, but she loved the turtles. Especially the baby ones.

Today we had a ward Memorial Day Picnic.  It was fun to meet some of our new ward members.

Photobucket
There were no rocks to throw in the pond so she had to make do with the snails.

Photobucket
She loves to hula-hoop.

Photobucket
She may hove found a new best friend in Miss. Brown.  They spent the whole time together.
